Leaked: Android Q beta may be available on March 13

If past Android releases are anything to go by, the first developer preview for Android Q should be released this March. Following that, Google should launch the second developer preview and an open beta at Google I/O which we're expecting to happen in May.

Finally, after developer preview/beta updates throughout the following months, we can expect the final build of Android Q to be released at some point in August (in addition to its name being revealed!).

As per an image shared by a Redditor, Google is planning to release the Android Q first beta on March 13. The image also hints towards an over-the-air (OTA) rollout, suggesting that the company will ask interested users to register for Android Q beta, following which the OTA beta update will automatically reach the users' devices, like the company has done in the past. The Redditor writes that he got the screengrab from someone who claims that he's a developer at Google and the calendar visible in the image is a “developer calendar of some sort.”
