Leading cloud backup service provider IDrive, has offered a solution to customers to securely backup & encrypt Microsoft Office files in their accounts for a yearly fee of $20 per user. It's also beneficial to know that, for Google Workspace, it offers only 10 TB of storage with a similar annual fee.
The additional security & flexibility that IDrive offers, it takes automatic back up 3 times a day, which helps in quicker recovery in case of user is hit by ransom ware or data loss. It also stores and transfer using AES 256 encryption.
However this offering isn't suitable for organisational use since the ‘unlimited cloud storage’ policy only applies to files backed up from a Microsoft 365 Personal account. Microsoft 365 data backup includes OneDrive, Outlook, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams data.
For Enterprise, IDrive offers a different option, IDrive Endpoint cloud backup, which also offers unlimited storage for its customers for both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
