BYD, a Chinese electric car manufacturer, recently launched their latest model - the Seal - in India. There are three versions available with different price tags: the top-of-the-line model costs Rs. 41 lakh, another premium version is priced at Rs. 45.55 lakh, and the performance-focused variant will set you back by Rs. 53 lakh.
The high-end BYD Seal catches the eye with its features. Out back, a continuous LED tail light stretches across with a sleek black diffuser below. Up front, double U floating LED headlights shine with a rippling glow. Other neat touches include waterdrop-shaped side mirrors, 19-inch wheel hubs, and electronically operated flush door handles. Inside the sporty cockpit, contoured front seats offer electronic adjustment, heating and ventilation for comfort.
A sleek black interior scheme completes the look. When extra space is needed, the three-seater's rear seats can split 60/40 for versatility.
The BYD Seal has a crystal gear lever to add refinement and give it a luxurious feel. Users can tilt its 15.6-inch entertainment system to view it vertically or horizontally thanks to its adaptable design. A heads-up display (HUD) makes it easy to see important information while driving. Also, BYD says the Seal can travel up to 200 kilometers on a single charge in just 15 minutes, highlighting how convenient and quick charging it is for everyday use.
Customers must pay a booking fee of Rs. 1.25 lakh to reserve the BYD Seal. According to BYD India Pvt Ltd, customers who reserve a car before March 31 will get special offers like free installation of a 7 kW home charger, a 3 kW portable charger, a BYD Seal mobile power supply unit, six years of roadside help, and one free inspection service.
The BYD Seal began accepting bookings on February 28th. Customers who purchase the BYD SEAL by April 30th, 2024 may also be eligible for a special program run by BYD India. The BYD Seal offers comprehensive guarantees to provide buyers confidence in their purchase:
- An 8-year warranty or up to 1.6 lakh kilometers of coverage is included with the battery.
- Up to 1.5 lakh kilometers or 8 years of warranty coverage is provided for the motor and motor controller.
- Up to 1.5 lakh kilometers of coverage or a 8-year guarantee is provided for the DC assembly and electronic assembly.
